I have movement to thank for completely expanding my presence, self-awareness, willpower and creativity. I remind my yoga students to surrender from thought-based processing to feeling-based processing at the start of every class I teach. We all tend to be way too heady, ego-oriented and thought-reliant.
We tend to only use the mind to perceive, and thus disconnect from feeling-based perception. But the really fascinating aspect of movement is what happens on subtle levels of the body, mind and heart. The cells of our bodies — being made up of nothing more than energy, ourselves — have to respond to movement.
It really is magic, when you think about it. Our physical being cannot remain as it was before. When we move, change occurs. Our muscles and bones need time to mend and strengthen after a challenging workout. True health involves a combined approach, using many diet and lifestyle practices, in which movement plays an important role.

Honestly I only had one child that was able to sit in church quietly while between the age of 18months and 3 years of age. So I typically put them in nursery during the sermon. Many kids are not very good at sitting quietly through a sermon until about 6. Caution: unpopular opinion coming. IMO, Having your child sit in church and play a game on a screen is not learning to sit still and pay attention in church.
I think it is distracting and unhelpful. The adults are reading bibles and writing notes.
